Voting for the People's Choice Award 2010 closed at 5pm, Friday 6 August 2010.

The winner of the People's Choice Award 2010 was announced at the New Zealand Post Book Awards Ceremony in Auckland, on Friday 27 August.

The winner is: Al Brown's Go Fish (published by Random House NZ).

The winner of the $1000 Booksellers Tokens prize, to be presented to a randomly selected voter, is:
