About Us

Founded in 1921, Booksellers NZ Inc. (aka Booksellers Aotearoa) is the membership association for bookshops in New Zealand.

We are a national not-for-profit trade organisation, and we work to help independently owned and chain bookstores to grow and succeed. Booksellers Aotearoa provides education, information, business products, and services; creates relevant programs; and engages in public policy and industry advocacy. A volunteer board of booksellers governs the Association.

Booksellers Aotearoa administer Booksellers Tokens, supported by an investment fund. The Booksellers Gift Card is administered by ePay, but financially secured by the same fund.
