Beyond the Battlefield examines a key part of New Zealand’s history during a time when the country was under the immense pressure of fighting a war on both sides of the world. It explores our diplomatic relationships with Great Britain, Australia and the United States, highlighting the irritants, cross comments, subterfuge and intrigue that are the real drivers of history.
