Jill Trevelyan is a Wellington curator and writer with a specialist interest in New Zealand art from the mid-twentieth century. She was the editor of Toss Woollaston: A Life in Letters (Te Papa Press, 2004), shortlisted for the 2004 Montana Book Awards, and co-author of Rita Angus: Live to Paint & Paint to Live (2001).Currently the art adviser for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Trevelyan is also co-curator of Te Papa’s touring exhibition ‘Rita Angus: Life & Vision’ and co-editor of the accompanying catalogue (Te Papa Press, 2008).
