The Wonky Donkey

Craig Smith enjoys watching the faces of kids giggling when he sings or reads The Wonky Donkey. He has an excuse to be a five-year-old again, allowing him to be silly and stupid without have to explain himself, which he finds so much fun and liberating.

Katz Cowley divides her time between being an artist/ illustrator, teacher/ facilitator, writer and musician. Katz remembers her aunt teaching her that being creative isn’t about ‘getting it right’, it’s about expressing yourself. A whole new world opened up to Katz when she learned that.

Seeing characters emerge on the page and having conversations with them to welcome them into the world is what Katz enjoys most about illustrating.
