The newsletter, sent on a designed template, keeps readers up-to-date with industry activities, promotions, bestsellers lists, classifieds, awards announcements, news and views from the local and international book scenes.

Business Meeting Exhibitors

The Business Meetings Day is an important part of the Booksellers Conference, as it provides an opportunity for booksellers to meet and talk to a range of publishers and service suppliers.

Publishers will have an ideal opportunity to present their books to bookshops large and small from all over New Zealand.

Take Note Tawa is the hub of the neighbourhood

Karen and Steve Pettigrew have owned Take Note Tawa for 18 years and three name changes; initially it was Local Value, then Books & More and from 2006, Take Note.

When the Pettigrew’s bought the store, it had a good range of books and that is something they have kept up over time.

Getting a New Zealand Post franchise in 1994 has helped grow the business, as has the subsequent addition of Kiwibank to their services.
