2017 Booksellers NZ conference to be held 19-20 August

The 96th annual Booksellers NZ conference is to be held at The Rydges in Auckland on 19-20 August, and the theme for the conference is Building our Future. With guest speakers talking about business resilience in the wake of Amazon; an Australian bookseller talking about bringing her bookshop back from the brink; alongside panels about money, business-saving tricks, social media in 2017 and how to respond to change: there is something for everybody. CONFERENCE REGISTRATION COSTS

These prices are GST-inclusive.

Full Member of Booksellers NZ

$161 per ticket for first two delegates ($140 ex. GST)

$107 per ticket for third and additional delegates

Non-Members

$253 per ticket for all delegates ($220 ex. GST)

This registration fee includes: attendance at the Trade Day on Saturday 19 August; catering and attendance at all conference sessions on Sunday 20 August. (There is no change in fee if you only attend one of the days. )

Accommodation costs and Book Industry Awards tickets are not included in this fee.

BOOK INDUSTRY AWARDS

The 2017 Book Industry Awards will be held at the Hobson Room, Rydges Auckland from 6pm on Saturday 19 August. Tickets are $95 each ($109.25 with GST) and cover drinks and a buffet dinner.

Information on how to enter the awards will be available from mid-June.
