Authorisation by February 18, returns by March 11

Walker Books’ sales manager Leone Hodgson has asked Booksellers NZ to make a final announcement of the procedures for returns ahead of the change to TL Distribution in Australia.

Macmillan Publishers NZ will continue to authorise eligible returns until 18 February 2011.

Macmillan Publishers NZ will accept these returns until the 11 March 2011.

Returns sent to Macmillan Publishers NZ after this date will not be given a credit and will be sent back to the customer at their expense.

All customers were sent a ‘change of distribution pack’ in June last year, and a folder of the new terms and conditions prior to the change of distribution to TNL, says Leone.

TLD will authorise eligible returns for goods invoiced by TLD from the 1 January 2011 and will accept these as per the TLD returns procedures. All authorised TLD returns should be sent to Express Logistics, 8 Amelia Earhart Avenue, Airport Oaks, Auckland Airport so only local postage/courier costs will be incurred. TLD will not accept goods invoiced by Macmillan Publishers NZ.
