Oxford University Press announces major price changes of imported titles:
Oxford University Press Australia & New Zealand is delighted to announce significant changes to local pricing of all imported trade, reference, scholarly and professional books sold in New Zealand.
The reduced prices are now in place in the Oxford system and will be applied to all outstanding backorders (including new releases) and for new orders invoiced henceforth.
We have endeavoured to provide a highly-competitive pricing model for these books that reflects the strength of the Australian dollar as well as closely matching prices being offered by overseas-based online retailers.
Strong customer service
Oxford University Press Australia & New Zealand is committed to supporting and working with our local business partners. Together, we have a vested interest in retaining book sales here in New Zealand.
As a valued customer we will of course continue to support you also with representation, marketing and promotional support along with first-rate customer service and distribution.
We are confident the competitive new pricing structure firmly addresses ongoing concerns from New Zealand booksellers about the loss of sales to offshore online retailers and will help us all to protect and maximise local sales of Oxford titles.
Please note there are no changes to current trading terms with Oxford University Press (i.e. no change to discount or returns policy).
