Rachel Hunter's Tour of Beauty
Imagination Press are pleased to announce a collaboration with Rachel Hunter for her book, Rachel Hunter’s Tour of Beauty, which will be sold exclusively through Paper Plus, Paper Plus Select and Take Note stores nationwide.
In the book, Rachel provides a behind-the-scenes view of the hugely successful television series, Rachel Hunter’s Tour of Beauty, which has sold to 162 countries internationally.
Talking about her journey, Rachel said, ‘Many may assume that I have a pre-conceived idea of what beauty is because of my job – glossy magazine covers, perfect features showing air-brushed, line-free faces. But is that really beauty? What makes a person beautiful? Is it how they look or is it their soul that makes them beautiful? To answer these questions, I set out on a journey around the world, during which I wanted to question seek and explore different ideas of beauty and what it means to truly be beautiful’.
As Rachel travelled the world on her quest to understand what beauty really means, meeting incredible people each of whom hold different parts of the puzzle of wellbeing and long life.
‘I wanted to rattle the cage of the beauty industry, to break down the ideas that many of us have about beauty, and to trace some of those ideas back to their roots in order to better understand what it means to be truly beautiful. I’m delighted to be able to share some of what I learned through the pages of this book.’
She also reflects on how her own ideas about beauty have changed and evolved throughout her life, as she’s grown from being the quintessential Kiwi girl-next-door on Auckland’s North Shore, to being a world-famous super model in her adopted hometown of Los Angeles, to being the loving mother of two children and the host of her own TV show.
Imagination Press publisher, Bill Honeybone says, ‘Paper Plus Group and Imagination Press are delighted to be working with Rachel on what is a ground-breaking book for us.
