Booksellers NZ members: Currently 1.95% (card present) and 2.25% (card not present), for both Westpac settlement account and non-mainbank customers

Who do I speak to at Westpac about my rate?

• Please speak to your Relationship Manager in the first instance or Merchant Assist on 0800 888 066 (or merchant_assist@westpac.co.nz)
• For new merchant facilities contact merchant_sales@westpac.co.nz

Can I negotiate a lower e-commerce rate?

• E-commerce rates are not included in the pricing schedule. We can review your e-commerce rates based on your card mix, international / domestic, industry rating.
•  E-commerce rates will always be more expensive than ‘card present’ rates due to the increased security required to process a ‘card not present’ transaction. Please contact your RM or Merchant Assist.

Am I still getting the best deal?

• Due to the association’s purchasing power members receive a highly competitive merchant rate compared to non-association customers

For any other banking requirements (lending, transactional banking) customers can email member.info or always call Westpac’s Business on Demand centres, who will be able to assist directly, or refer to a local business manager if required.
