BookHub
Where the convenience of online shopping meets the satisfaction of shopping local.
BookHub was founded in 2023 by Booksellers Aotearoa NZ to meet a growing challenge: how can Aotearoa’s independent bookshops compete in an online retail world increasingly dominated by large international players?
The answer was BookHub — a one-of-a-kind platform that brings together the shelves of over 70 independent bookshops across Aotearoa, all in one place.
Independent bookshops are cornerstones of New Zealand communities. They’re places for people to discover new voices, share ideas, have conversations, and feel at home among books. BookHub exists to support those spaces — and the people behind them — by making online shopping work for independents, not against them.
