  • Membership excludes the BookHub Levy
  • Invoices will be sent out on April 1 with membership due on May 20 by default. Should you wish to pay monthly, your first payment will be due on April 20. Please let us know that you’d like to pay monthly.
  • Revenue tiers have changed and as before, are self declared. Please let us know if there has been a change for you.
  • The definition of a store, for the purposes of this membership structure is “a unique physical or online location and/or unique brand or trading name”.

The sale and redemption of Booksellers Tokens, administered by Booksellers Aotearoa and sold in over 200 bookshops nationwide, has the potential to make your bookshop thousands of dollars each year. Booksellers Aotearoa represents over 70% of New Zealand booksellers, including independents and chain stores. Subscriptions to The Read for libraries and media start from just $100 + GST. Bookshops must become Business members to receive benefits of membership, while Publishers are asked to become Associate Members.
