Bookshop day started in 2015 and is run by the Booksellers Association of New Zealand to encourage book lovers, like you, to shop at their local bookshop.

Bookshop Day is nationwide celebration of all bookstores. The day aims to highlight the cultural importance of books and bookshops, and celebrate the people that bring the two together, our amazing booksellers.

Booksellers are what make our book-buying experience so special – they are book experts, community champions, and match makers.
