The Open Book

The Open Book is a secondhand bookshop and a stage for culture. Our home is an historic villa a few steps up off the street at 201 Ponsonby Road, and online at theopenbook.co.nz. A delight for book lovers and thrifters, we have six rooms full of excellent quality secondhand books for sale. We run a regular series of literary readings, with the occasional musical performance thrown in. And we dig out fifty or so extra boxes of books for our quarterly clearance sale four times a year.
