Ben Schrader, freelance historian who specialises in urban history and the history of the built environment, was presented with the CLNZ Writers’ Award in Wellington on Thursday evening (21 September 2017).

Wellington’s most innovative little literary festival – LitCrawl – has launched its largest ever programme. The renowned crawl will be held on Saturday 11 November and will have more events than ever before. 

The winners of the Ockham Residential Book Awards were announced on Tuesday 16 May. Catherine Chidgey has won the Acorn Literary Award.
