It’s Book Shop Day on Saturday, but the day before we have a surprise for all commuters passing our shop doors on their way to whatever they do on a Friday morning – we’ll be giving away a book for you to take with you.
If you’re catching a bus, grab one to read on the way. If you’re walking, grab one but promise to still look where you walk. If you’re cycling, definitely don’t read it on your way, but take one for later. Whatever you do, we want you to enjoy a book!
And on Saturday, wander on in and see what’s happening – we’ll be having a 40% sale on our secondhand Young Adults, Children’s, and NZ Fiction books (doesn’t include items in the expensive catalogue).So, see us outside Book Haven between 7.30am and 8.30am on Friday 10 Oct at160 Riddiford St, Newtown, and in the shop on Saturday 11 Oct.
And remember the “Love Your Bookshop” postcard draw. Write why you like your favourite bookshop and go into a draw to win a book voucher – we have postcards in the shop for you.
