GLOBAL BOOK CRAWL

For the first time, Aotearoa book lovers can join fellow readers worldwide in the Global Book Crawl, a growing movement taking place from 20 to 26 April.
Independent bookstores across the motu have joined colleagues from Reykjavík in Iceland to Chihuahua in Mexico to organise the Global Book Crawl 2026. It’s a fun way for the country’s thousands of readers to discover fascinating new titles, get lost in conversations, and feel part of an international, like-minded community.
Readers are invited to collect a free passport from any participating bookshop and visit all the stores taking part in their region at any time during the week. Win prizes, make connections and get inspired.
