Aotearoa NZ Bookshop Day is a nationwide celebration of our unique and much-loved local bookshops. It’s a day to connect with your community, discover new stories, and the magic of stepping into a bookshop.
This year, we’re especially excited to bring a little extra sparkle to the celebrations. Thanks to our partnership with Libro.fm, we have a very special Golden Ticket to hide in-store. If you’re the lucky finder, you’ll take home a prize of 12 audiobooks to enjoy — a whole year of listening sorted!
But that’s not all. Throughout the morning we’ll have:
- Random giveaways
- Special deals on selected books
- Colouring-in activities for tamariki (and anyone feeling creative!)
And don’t forget the nationwide “Love Your Bookshop” postcard draw. Share your love for your favourite local bookshop by filling out a postcard entry (online or in-store). You’ll go in the draw to win a fantastic book voucher — the perfect excuse to treat yourself to more stories.
Whether you’re hunting for your next great read, exploring the shelves with whānau, or just soaking in the bookshop atmosphere, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.
