It’s official! These are the best books of the year for young NZ readers. The winner’s of the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults were announced yesterday in a joyous ceremony at Pipitea Marae, Wellington, where pukapuka centred around te ao Māori truly shone through.
