Timaru Booksellers is an independent community bookshop in the heart of Timaru. We have a great selection of books and we can order in any book you’d like. If it’s in print, we’ll find it and get it to you. We run bookclubs and events and we’re run but a motley crew of book lovers, accompanied by dogs, toddlers, the odd chicken and we’ve always got a touch of the chaotic. But chaos is flux and flux is change and change is life and we’re proud to enliven in the work we do as booksellers, which is to connect people with stories. We proudly work with schools, libraries and community groups all across South Canterbury and our curated collection is a reflection of our community, our georaphy, our history and our people.
